Gruppo Fotografico Progetto Immagine is very pleased to announce the winners of the IV annual World Report Award – Premio Italiano di Fotogiornalismo.

This year the Award has obtained a great success and the juries especially constituted for this occasion composed by: Master Award and Spot Light Award: Aldo Mendichi, Alberto Prina (organisers of Festival of Ethical Photography), Alessia Glaviano (photo editor of Vogue Italy) and Sandro Iovine (editor-in-chief of FPmag). Short Story Award: Gruppo Fotografico Progetto Immagine and Sandro Iovine. The juries had the opportunity to examine and evaluate more than 600 submissions realized by photographers coming from 41 different nations. Among these, 237participated in the Master Award category, 262 in the Spot Light Award category and 137 in the brand new Short Story Award category.

After a long and difficult process of selection, the jury has unanimously decided to assign the most important of the awards, the Master Award, to the following photographer: Majid Saeedi for his work Life in War. For the categories Spot Light Award and Short Story Award the jury has selected these two winners respectively: Oriol Segon Torra for his work Young Patriots – Gwenn Dubourthoumieu for his work Child-Witches of Kinshasa.

Please note that the official awards ceremony, where the three artists are honoured with the prizes, will be held during the dates of the Festival.
